it's rare when a band releases a masterpiece right from the get go.. their debut and what a blast.. I remember back then I was completely blown away by their unique style, melodic black metal with goth influences, but in a very personal shape.. one of the bands you can easily recognize.. excellent vocals both angry and melodic, very theatrical I might say, recitative passages, dark atmosphere, no speedy parts, in a word : elegant!.. still a milestone after all these years!
