This is an excellent Black Metal Band directly from Bergen, Norway, with Hoest as the creative main force of the band. The band was formerly known as Thule between 1993 to 1995. Taake means the Norwegian word which means "Fog".
This is the first full-lenght produced by Wounded Love Records in 1999. It has an amazing athmosphere as all Taake albums. The production fits exceptionally well with the music really. The musical content is mainly renowned for its unique intensity, because this is the hatred and rage mixed with a certain humanity and love of nature, which removes the rawness of the music in its contradiction. Sun Taake enchant the listener to "Nattestid" inducing melodies that take you on a journey into the secluded pine forests and frozen tundra of Scandinavia and enchanted by little. I rate this album 5/5. Highly recomended.
