So far this is my fave album in 2010. I definitely did not expect this from Nokturnal. They have added more influences to their sound, the most surprising ones being "rock" influences. Listen to "Valkyrie" and you will understand. The rest is what you would expect from them, melodic black metal with folk influences. Definitely the most complex of their career. They still have the "aryan/white power" lyrics which makes lots of people to hate them. But if you can get past that, you will discover a great band.

This is in my opinion their best Album ever made.
As always, patriotic Ukranian feellings blended with an exquisite Black Metal sound, this time accompanied with some kinda blues/jazz interludes and great soloing, mainly in Valkyrie and White Tower. These two songs are an incredible masterpiece metal songs. They both are long but you can never get bored of the perfect structure and melodies on each one. You can feel you're listening to the old Nokturnal Mortum Black Metal sound, with harsh vocals and fast melodies and then, smoothly, the sound goes into a very nice and relaxing mixture of Folk Symphonic characteristic elements with very nice blues/jazz interludes.
I rate this Album 5/5. Highly recommended.
