Old-School Death Metal At Its Best

Look, you either like Deicide, or you don't. If you're a death metal fan, you gotta admit that they're one of the classic bands. They've been around for ages, and even though they have some duds in their catalog, overall their body of work is pretty solid.
Say hello to one of Deicide's best works! This album is truly a worthy addition to their catalog. There are some off-kilter riffs here sprinkled on several of the songs that were quite a surprise. The brutality is still there. It's just that they've added just a touch of complex riffage. And yes, several of the vocal patterns have already been used in other albums, but the music underneath this time is just fantastic, and the fire with which it is delivered is quite compelling.
If your interest in Deicide had decreased, you owe it to yourself to give this one a spin. They've proven they still got it.

I love Deicide, but I think that they have lost their sound. Deicide old work was more agressive, Vocals were super natural. i know that age can take a toll on vocalist, but not their lyrics and sound. this is one more album that Deicide has put out that carries them further away from what they used to be. Deicide Rules, hands down.
