this is horrible, pop-metal... the cheesy dance club synths, the whiny nu-metal vocals, this is just bad, period

Really not my cup of tea, and not even sure this qualifies as metal at all.
sounds more like a Eurovision songfestival band to me, and would be better off in a different radio station

Usually i tend to be quite understanding to different music experiments, because my tastes vary from blues/jazz to JGore, the latter being a personal favorite.
To the point: Power/Melodic Death Metal has NOTHING to do with Amaranthe. This is more or less Power Goth. The combination of these makes me go nuts, because it is neither power or goth. It is a crappy MTV-like production with female vocals and random harsh ones. It simply does not work like this. With my hand on my heart i admit that i actually prefer Myriads, if i wanted to be tortured by any of these bands.
It seems that the teenage feelings in any musicians do not fade away so quickly, but the truth is that similar artists are floating around the TV screen and certain kids parties and i really think that this band does not deserve to be played on DFM, because the concept of the band is just the opposite, of what we strive to maintain here as probably one of the strongest fortresses of extreme music and many of it's variations.
Recap: does not belong here, different audience, useful to entertain emos, before the final ketchup smear, putting together female and harsh vocals is NOT a recipe for success.
Thanks for reading,
neckfreak

I really like this band, and I like this album, but it really does not belong here... I am very surprised I found it here, actually...
