i tried musikcube, it's good but i think foobar2000 is more in my ergonomy... we can also edit tags etc.
the only reason i tested musikcube is there is no feature "select by leter (with keyboards)" when u have a big playlist, i-e type "k" for jumping to all artists with a name beggining by "k"... so musikcube doesnt it either... so they are both cool cause they can read every sound format and are very light, with essential features... too bad i can't code those fullchill opensources
ps: i am curious about VLC too, now, hehe... and, once again: winamp sux!!! |

Hej,
Well I also use foobar2000 too now for the radios.
It's so much lighter than winamp, and I can easily keep my playlist with different radios on it. _________________ chainmail bra - howto |

ihave a decent sound card a 5.1 system but windows media player 10 really boosts music's quality |
Today I use WMP 11 and (RelaS) it boosts even more the sound quality over a 5.1 system.
I had used WinAmp, but it became too heavy and "bugged". I avoid free-softwares 'cause:
1. I am a programmer and I live from sell software; and
2. I like that NatGeo programs where the GNU is drinking water and the crododile grasps him.

btw i tried foobar (thx for the link dr_schizo) and i must say i don't like it for some reason... i think the handling of the tool could be some nicer.... its difficult to explain... but foobar is just created for performance ... and i have the feeling for nothing more... |
