the Reverend Bizarre, a finnish doom metal band.
unfortunately they splitted, this album (a 2CD) is their
last piece of art
album release: 8th of August 2007
album cover:
album tracklist:
1.1 They Used Dark Forces / Teutonic Witch 29:05
1.2 Sorrow 25:20
1.3 Funeral Summer 11:41
2.1 One Last Time 15:39
2.2 Kundalini Arisen 4:25
2.3 Caesar Forever 15:43
2.4 Anywhere Out of This World 25:32
2.5 Untitled (Mallorca) 2:35

myspace link: (with older samples) here
samples from this album:
They Used Dark Forces / Teutonic Witch
I'm sorry I couldn't find more samples, but believe me, it's an amazing album. I didn't read any bad review yet. It's an 2h album that doesn't get boring at all _________________ We were, fair queen,

ha! Good one, everyone should know Reverend Bizarre:) Great band, long songs. but that is the problem, the songs are way too long for DFM. And I dunno if the music is heavy enuff either.
Anyways, I love RB! Great traditional shit _________________ JOIN ZAGANISM, PM ME FOR INFOS (Headpriest Cherubian)

Yep, different kind of a band. I like them, but like Nortt, too odd for here I think. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

They sound good, but I guess it's hard to call them metal even. Some stuff I listened let me to good and old Black Sabbath. They do not fit here. |

I had very few opportunities to listen to Reverend Bizarre. I like them, they're different, as CJ says. They would probably fit here, too, because they are so different. I'd say "yes" to this one, though the length of some songs would be difficult to handle for some people. _________________ diginferno
