I totally agree with you, Brewer, except I hate almost all doom bands (especially funeral doom).

I'm not a fan of doom but I do like some funeral doom, i like the deep grunty vocals. Guess I can blame cjjeepercreeper for that, the doom expert  |

I think the older you get your tastes change. When I was in my teens and twenties it had to be fast rocking music most of the time, my only real exception was an addiction to Pink Floyd (don't forget this is the late 60s and into the 70s  ). But as you get older "harsh sounding" music is almost painful to listen to (good raw black metal being the exception). And you discover other kinds of music that drives you into certain moods or thought, good ambient like Northaunt is a fine example of that. Right now, its doom of all kinds, black metal and old school death metal (I listened to the first 2 Immolation albums last night while reading). Oh, and one more thing, you have a tendency to become less tolerant of stuff you don't like.

I like mainly Death Metal genre, but yes, I like some others too like Goregrind, Brutal Death Metal, Black Metal and a couple Doom Metal bands, if I would like all genres here it makes me more Mexican, the Mexican people are too exotic, they show their noses every place in every activity anytime here, I mean, if there is a movie in billboard, they don’t ask themselves first if it could be for them and their taste, they think if they have enough time to watch it and that’s it, and also I’m sure when somebody asks about the music here, the typical answer is: I like every kind of music, believe or not.
I’d rather to be cordial but I’m sure I haven’t been friendly all the time, mostly when I’m drunk, but I don’t like to be offensive with the people’s tastes here, on the other hand I don’t like when people is too defensive, I mean, it has occurred with Myriads, for example, when somebody request the band extremely for bother others.
If you ask me which band I remember that I don’t like here, I must say Catacombs and some “New Metal” bands.

Goddammit! Every five minutes tonight there's some shitty grindsludgegorecore band playing the same crap: thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud; while going brieee. Eight thuds at alternating tempos isn't original, it's just fucking annoying while I'm trying shoot down planes in BFH.

Doom and Black are my favorites but I can't imagine DFM without Death and its brees.
I don't have problems with a genre in special, but with some shitty fag bands that insist to be played very often. |

Yeah, I like all of the different genres. That doesn't mean that I like all of the bands, but I am definitely a fan of all of the genres from the doom, grind, black metal, brutal death, gothic, etc... |
