I'm buying a cd from a guy in the Ukraine, and he can't use Paypal there, so they use something called Liqpay. It's like Paypal, only different, uses your cellphone/text messaging as part of it. I was having a problem linking a card, but I think I got it. Just curious, is this system pretty commonly used in other parts of the world?

I only made SMS payments but I didn't need a credit card for that, the amount was deducted from my phone account credit.
Hmph, I guess that you need to enter credit card information on that site? Or do they redirect the user to another site to enter their credit card details?
You know I am paranoid, so all I have to say is that *any* website that stores credit card information needs to be PCI compliant (PCI = Payment Card Industry). These sites usually display a PCI certification somewhere on their pages, or they mention it somewhere on the site - see PayPal's page about PCI compliance. SSL certificates are a very small part of the software compliance requirements and this is the only certification I can see on their "Security" page. _________________ diginferno
