You are entering Islay time. A recent talking with Pyrates inspired me to
put this topic in here, i'm a fan of Scottish Single Malt Whiskies, especially
the rough stuff from the mentioned Hebridian island. As a member of the
Ardbeg commitee and friend of Laphroaig i prefer these labels, they are
available, furthermore i have a few bottles of rare Port Ellen left.
That should be enough for now, expect your replies, Blasph.

I also like that stuff although I haven't really drunk much of the more noble and expensive stuff. I once drank one single malt that - according to my drinking companion - comes out of some scottish (if I remember correctly) factory, where only girls are working (in the production of course).

When I drank (gave it up 3 years ago next month), a fine single malt was the best, with a good bourbon coming in second. The few things I miss a bit about not drinking, single malt scotch, and for some reason, Guinness. |

Today is the InterWhisky in Frankfurt / Main but sadly i can't go there, sigh.
Seems like have to plunder my board in the evening to equalize the loss.
Just to give the thread a bump, perhaps some connoisseurs joined since it started.

Something as 20 years without put a single drop of Whisky in mouth... I near forgot its taste.
Today just Wine or Beer 
But I drunk a lot of "gold-holy-water" (not god piss) on past.  |
