I love the sound of vinyl. I'm in the process of putting together an "old school" listening room. 4 restored large Advent speakers circa 1970, a Technics SL-Q2 turntable with Stanton 681EEE cartridge circa 1978, a Sony cassette deck circa 1989. The only thing I lack is a stereo receiver/amp. If anyone has one with at least 75 watts RMS per channel PM me. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

Well, it looks like my quest for a vintage receiver or amp may be over. I didn't want to buy a new stereo receiver to go with the vintage components, so I've been looking around. Didn't want to buy one off ebay, old stuff can have too many problems. But, yesterday I ran into a guy that said he has all his old stereo stuff in boxes and he would give me his Kenwood receiver. Can't wait. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

For those of us with discerning tastes the sound of vinyl played on decent equipment is so much superior to cd sound thqt there isn't even any comparison. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.
