It's strange, he tells the same story on his website. It is consistent, but I still cannot tell. _________________ It is more likely that a brain randomly forms out of the chaos with false memories of its life than that the universe around us would have billions of self-aware brains.

Even though Varg has had nothing nice to say about "Lords of Chaos" the authors still seemed to cover the events of that time pretty thoroughly. Read it if you haven't already, it will give you more info to help you decide what is fact and what is fiction. What Varg says here is pretty consistent with what he said many years ago, so I have a tendency to believe him. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

This is an extremely important event in the early days of Norwegian bm. From a historical standpoint this was a landmark event, a turning point if you will. There are those of us that are very interested in the history of the music we listen to, although I guess "brutal" dm really has no history, it just grew like a fungus. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

Nothing against you lunar, it just seems an inordinate number of people don't give a shit, which is too bad. To me, knowing the history of something, anything, often makes it more enjoyable. And that period of time in black metal and Norwegian history was fascinating, at least to me. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

Hey, CJ. Why don't you write a history book on BM, DM, doom, etc? _________________ I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
