There is nothing original about this album, but for some reason I’ve listened to it again and again, and each time I like it more.. classic doom/death/goth combination, very en-vogue in the nineties, a la old Anathema/Paradise Lost.. similar to Draconian, but better I’d say.. Russians seem to have a big scene when it comes to this music and Wine From Tears is definitely one of their best.

The conflict between calmness and anger expressed in mixed clean and harsh vocals, and the use of string instruments gives the atmosphere of the hard death/doom sound.....
