What bands have you guys seen live, that afterwards your opinion was different about them?

I seen Kittie with devildriver one time, and was amazed with their performance, it was so much better than what I remember hearing when they first came about. I even went and seen them again headlining their own show some months later. Still dont like their old material, but the album "I've failed you" is awesome and so is their live show.

Aphyxion. Didn't think much about them before I saw them a year ago. 'Just another underground metal band', but they proved that they was something more with a very good live show. A lot of energy and a cool attitude.

Valkyrja. Heard of them, but never given them any attention, but damn a good live show. By far one of the better concerts that day.

Ferocity. The same as Aphyxion; they are monster live. One of my favorite livebands of all time. It a joy waching them every time.

(there are probably more bands, but can't remember any other atm)

i saw Joe Cocker years ago. He was chugging whiskey onstage, sang like one song and puked all over the front row and left. I knew he was an alkie but that was ridiculous.

BTW, the most awesome band live in history is Pink Floyd, especially the 70s version.

I have seen many but I remember i thought Lacrimosa will be just good. After watching them live the show was fucking awesome. I watched Ancient but i was pretty upset cause they came without Aphazel and the bass player sang instead of him, a very bad one btw. It sucks a cult old band like them were capable to do such bad thing, i would have preferred they didn't come.

I seen marilyn manson and megadeth both 3 times, and each show had been progressively worse.

I seen hank III twice now and I'm really impressed with the live show, much better and more metal than album stuff. Also anyone who'll play for almost 4 hours without more than a 5 minute break is awesome.

Saw Kreator a few weeks ago, and found them utterly boring.

When I seen kreator they broke it down for about 1.5 hrs, but I think they were trying to show up fear factory, who was made the headliner instead of kreator just a few weeks prior
