AS I get older (will be 60 in Feb.) the "traditional" doom sounding bands take up more and more of my music listening time. The past month has seen 3 monstrous , epic slabs of doom come our way, I already posted up the new Witch Mountain, but there are 2 more just out that prove that what Sabbath started in the late 60s is not dead.

The Order of Israfel--Wisdom
Whatever they've been putting in the water in Gothenburg for years they ought to market, another incredible offering from Sweden

Pallbearer--Foundations of Burden
This US doom bands second effort after a monster first release, and they have lived up to all the hype of the first album.

Thnx CJ both great bands. I prefer Israfel better as it seems a little more lively and upbeat if that´s possible to say in doom. Pallbearer is definitely more sluggish.

Pallbearer is awesome, better than their debut!
