I'm one of them, dude: a nerdish metalhead. I'm an introvert and I don't allow anyone to define rules for MY life because it's ME who lives it. So live your own life according to your rules, try not to regard me with some kind of superiority and never try to change my ways because I don't owe this to anyone in this bloody world, ok? :P

WoW sucks coz the European version free trial cant be downloaded from the official site, so i dont know how it is  (i'll try again!)
i can play any kind of games except horror shooters, so i can join you guys where you prefer, i dont care

Razy if you assume command then: it's all yours, good luck dude and try to have some tolerance for games you don't like eh!!!! If you are serious about getting it up and running then go visit www.multiplay.co.uk to get an idea of what you get for server rental etc etc. and shop around.
@ Digi - I agree 100% with you there. I never watch tv unless its got Rugby or Motorbikes on it, i fuckin' hate it.

dont hit on me so hard for making my rules and telling what i think -.- i expressed my opinion, and its not my fault all the metalgeekheads in my town are assholes who cant say 2 setences whithout giving you that adrenaline to slap them... i know 1 or 2 metal head geeks who i give along pretty great but theyre a very low minority. theres no need to bash on me -.-
Still nice speach i dont care has you live lol i never said i was against it for others i spoke only has me i cant define myself has a gamer and a metalhead at the same time, I either choose one or another, each at its time.
PS i never said i havent been a geek :P i just rather lock my geek side when Im in the metalhead mood or going to a show!
please introduce more bashing below :P

Well, I got around to d-loading the beta and played it.
So far, I am not impressed with it. I mean, I have a decent machine and I totally cranked up all the video options to "high" & "ultra" and it improved some of the textures, but nothing to spectacular. I was thinking this was gonna have the same look and feel of Q4 or DOOM3 and it looks worse. My PC performs great on both of these games on high and I just can't believe it.
Also, while playing, things were not very "on point". Like with targeting or something. Now, I can see where ID wants to go with this. I think the scale of things is awesome, like the map and vehicles -n- stuff. I think the map layout is alright.... gives the open ended players somewhere to go and the people who like it up close and personal to get down and bloody. The sound is also gooshed as well. I know this is only a beta and I hope that before they zip this thing up they really clean it up.
All I have to say is I will still be in the BF2 & 2142 until the next best thing comes out or something.
Anyone else played this yet? What do you think?

I think that a Death.FM Gaming Community (I don't like "Clan" as it does sound too damn childish these days with everyone and their mom coming up with a Clan.) would be a great idea. I think having a server out there, a server graphic, then "Respectable" team players on the server could get a more people converted over to the darkside.
If this were really taken seriously, I would help keep the server alive. I have had many gaming servers my self in the past. I have been trying to start my own gaming community and it seems to fail. (http://www.222online.com) Maybe with all folks that are already here in the Death.FM community that are gamers this could be really something.
Right now I currently play BF2 & 2142. Not really RPG's as companies are charging monthly for them..... and paying monthly for a game I already purchased is against my religion.
Over all, let me know.... I would like to help out as much as I can.
