The German language has this great word: "schadenfreude". It means: taking pleasure, however fleeting, in someone else's misfortune. (Gotta love those Germans- what other language would have a word like that!)
If you're like me, you enjoy a good laugh and there's nothing like a good laugh at the stupidity/misfortune of others. If you have a good story or see a good news article post it here for the rest of us who like to experience "schadenfreude".

We have a simular word with the same meaning in Denmark: skadefryd

Yeah, that one is pretty old. If I remember correctly, it was about some drunk guy who got his boots wet, so he put his boots (with his feet still in them) in the oven. They caught on fire, he pulled them out of the oven, started running and tripped and fell onto a bunch of broken glass and died. (It was something like that)
(I guess it is better to copy and paste the story)
