Music says a lot about us. I like to think that friends of mine are listening songs I like. But more than that, I like to listen songs my friends like.

So I had thought to ask Jeric to do a module for "personal suggestions". But develop a new module costs time and money and perhaps we can do it here.

The idea is: each one of us selects, let's say, 5 songs and put their links here. So, one could listen songs of others.

So, this topic would become a reference guide to others songs. To update each one's list, enough edit one's item.

What you ppl think about? I'll start on the next item. Yes

Digi is right: links pointing to playlist would enhance server load dangerously (thanks Saffron!). So just songs names and no links.

quite a nice idea, except for the direct links to the songs. no offense meant, Pesa, but they can be clicked by anyone at any time and this would put useless load on the server.

Moonsorrow - Verisakeet - Jotunheim
Moonspell - Memorial - Sanguine
Shape Of Despair - Illusion's Play - Fragile Emptiness
Agalloch - Ashes Against The Grain - Our Fortress Is Burning part 2 (Bloodbirds)
Novembers Doom - The Novella Reservoir - Drown The Inland Mere

(there are more, but...)

Peace

[EDIT]
thanks, Pesa, for removing the links Smile

Yes Understand you Pesa u want some profiling and propositions of good music. Maybe it´s enough to outsource this to "myspace".

Exactly my opinion, some proposals were enough, every member should be
able to find the songs in the playlist and to check them out.

Favs:

Dissection: Soulreaper (only one from that masterpiece)
Naglfar: Horncrowned Majesty
Morbid Angel: Blasphemy
Death: Left To Die
Profundi: The Omega Rising (been added soon)

JERIC created a thread: "Your Introduction to Death.FM Compilation CD"

There, we will have the opportunity to put our fav songs as they would be on a CD.
Perhaps, his thread kills this, but I motivate you all to post there (also).

Cool Idea but before gathering songs on a Death.fm compilation there should be some important influential bands up here imo. Ok the stream of CD-Outputs never run dry but me would miss some bands that are not here. Confused Else it could be a chance to get more underground on it hmmm...For sure it wouldn´t help tp pick the All-time requested/favs or something similar cause ther server got reseted, the list shows peaks on new entries or songs that get requested by the same persons over and over again but not by the average of listeners. SO yeah there should and has to be an aditional list for sure Yes

Here is the link concerning pesa´s post:
