Is it possible to prevent some members requesting only long songs even if
the queue is long, obviously "netiquette" doesn't exist in their vocabulary? |

No. Because what if they want to hear that song? You are going to deny them that right? Even if the que is 2 hours long if they can only request 1 song per 10 hours why should it be that bad? I like summoning and such and their song can be over 10 minutes long... so just cuz you have to wait a long time for youre song i cant request mine? Sry but fuck you. What kinda govenrment do you come from? |

The government you mentioned is called "netiquette", read here:

If you want a long song, who cares, but some persons ONLY request long songs
to annoy the others and even worse they take advantage of situations
the queue fells under the edge to add another long song so all of the others
need to wait an hour, just unfair. |

See you answerd youre own question. Instead of making it a rule for all, use youre option to reprt the people that are doing it. We have moderators admins on alot. Its their job to make sure the station is managed correctly. Dont make it a rule for all of use to follow when its just a few. |

actually i asked in my first post for some more attention of the staff,

Fine if it wasnt a question... what i posted would be the answer.If it is a rule and ppl dont follow report them.A thread shouldnt be need for a matter as this. |

@ cj, I know that it is part of the station's guidelines and that Blas is right but I just meant that I don't really care. I never was a fan of rigid rules and shit, sorry. Blas I can see your point but ask yourself does it really matter? If so why?

BTW, we do try to deal with this. I dealt with a situation this morning with a member requesting 2 10 minute songs in a nearly 3 hour queue. He has been put on notice.

I've also had it to happen with a 3hr queue that an admin will come delete the song from the queue if you notify them or if they just happen to see it. It's like the cops, if they catch it or someone tips them off, they fix it.

Even I agree with Blas. Ofc I love long songs (Doom) but I try NOT to req it, when the queue is long...
But there are some persons here that request long songs only to annoy and that sucks badly

Fortunately, one of us saw it happening and took the appropriate action at the moment, but...
