It's making the chat and the page maximize and minimize each time it does it. Just wondering if it's just an isolated incident or if it's happening to other people also, as it's rather annoying.
Is there anything that I can do on my pc to prevent it?

It shouldn't happen. Could be some browser plug-in that interferes with it?
Btw, what is your browser and operating system? Could help identify the cause of this unusual behavior. Also try scanning your computer for malware.

Browser: Fire Fox (the most recent one).
OS: Windows XP Media Edition 2006.
My pc is scanned every morning at 5 am, if anything was wrong with it it would show up -- most likely. I'll run a scan when I go to bed just to be sure though.
