top 20 albums shouldn't be based on votes on those albums... incase you havn't noticed, highest in top 20 only has 6 votes.... and like the bottom 10 have 2. Not exactly an accurate system. Should probably be reworked to be kind of like the top 20 requests, with the top 20 albums just being scored by number of requests for tracks on each album.
I also didn't realized that we requested Fear Factory so much on here :P they're dominating the top 20, with like 25% of the list under their belt... come on guys, lets hear some Opeth! |

The Top 20 Albums will become better and better as albums get more votes.

problem... unlike SST... this site has like 40 regular users, and 400 albums to vote on. The current system works for a gigantic, mega popular site, but not a small one like this. besides, noones voting... I have to bribe ppl to vote lol |

The site just started a few months ago. SST only had about 40 regular users and a few hundred albums in its infancy as well.
The votes will build up in time.

this is the thing though.... there are 45-year old suburbanite soccer moms out there that would LOVE to listen to a website playing movie soundtracks, and some people like us would too... soundtracks tend to have something for everyone... Death.fm is kind of taste specific, and unfortunately, a site like this will never grow to the scale of SST. Unless of course I can convince everyone who is on Snakenet to switch over :P |

Give it some time and the radio will grow more and more. Maybe there are only 251 (?) Users at the moment but I saw radio stations that grew to almost thousands in a few months.

Death.fm should be successfull quite fast. I've been on many web metal radio and it's the first one I logg in and want to contribute in (unfortunately my finances are not good enough to donate) Anyway I let all my metal friends to know about it and I've put a link on my band website.
