80% of the time i rate an album, i get this error message

And after i hit "resend", this happens:

The top just goes black.

Also, this happens a lot for no apparent reason when DFM refreshes itself:

Anyone have a solution other than downloading a different browser? (Sorry the text is so small in these pics, I'm not too sure what happened...)

What OS are you using? Use the default browser for the OS. Someimte i get thesse errors too, it might be the servers on Jerics side.

That never happens to me. Using Firefox and I have the latest version installed.

However, I see an interesting search bar above your tabs and a yellow icon that I don't recognize. What if some of these add-ons interfere with the scripts on our pages?

You could try Google Chrome, but I doubt it's the browser's fault.

The letters in your image may be too small because you embedded the image. Posting just a link to the image source would have pointed us to the original image.

maybe you should check your browser settings about cookies and scripts.

thank you all for your help, I am curious about the bookmarking site digi mentioned in chat. Do you have to go to the website each time to view/go to your bookmarks?

There are plug-ins for browsers, I am using the one for Firefox. You don't have to go to the website every time if you use the plug-in, but it will ask you to authenticate if you are not already logged in.

*edit: Oh, and the bookmarks can also be saved in your local cache if you use the plug-in.

Although you seem have fixed the bug with FF7, it seems it was some related with some add ons you had.
Also it's better if you run
CCLEANER each time you close the browser (or just 1 time per day) for deleting cookies, caché, etc.

Good idea, Jvan, CCleaner is a neat tool. However, I think that running it that often would be overkill.

Firefox can be set to delete its temporary data whenever it is being closed. To do this, go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy (from the menu), and find the History section. At the bottom of that section there is a checkbox that says "Clear history when Firefox closes" and a "Settings..." button to its right. Check the checkbox and click the settings button to choose what you want it to clean. Also look at the other checkboxes in the History section, you may want to tweak your settings for cookies and tell it what to remember.
