I finally was able to listen to this album (was also the first time I really heard Trivium). In my opinion it is almost as weak as this band. Some of the riffs are good, like the fast one at the beginning of "To The Rats" but most of the time it's just junk. Obviously the singer tried to imitate James Hetfield but doesn't get near that (if you want a good vocalist who does (t)his style, you should listen to "Speedball", german underground Thrash-Act). The production is very clear and good, grats to the producer

I think Trivium are trying too hard to show people that they're metal because they had recieved a lot of criticism. The music is decent but the vocals are unlistenable.
