Some people have been very negative (obviously) about my username, here is the explaination for it.
Of course I know what the Waffen_SS was. I am neither an idiot or a nazi. I enjoy people's reactions to various offensive things. Yeah the Waffen SS did some utterly horrible things that I never condone or support. I am amused by the reponse to such things. I will admit to having a pretty wierd sense of humour.
Surprisingly there aren't many people who object or react negativley. I'm from England and my conutry has carried out severe actions that far surpass the Waffen SS and even make the look like little girls. At onetime we held 1/4 of the globe under our iron fist of pompous superior ignorance. People forget this when they think about WW2. It is worth pointing out at this point that ENGLAND invented the concentration camp!
Look what we did in India for example. Subdue the 'savages' then educate them to our ways. Also there is Malaysia, The Carribean and West Africa. Also our indiscriminate levelling of German cities towards the end of WWII. All this is not the point though. I am English but I am not a tyrant or Nazi.We have had wars with most of Europe - even the 100years war with France!!!! That takes some beating right?
I am not offended by the word Armada or Bomber Harris! I dont see how you should be offended by the word Waffen_SS.
Germans should get over what happened. There are no two ways about it. As far as I, and you should be, concerned what happened is not a reflection of Germany today. You are the powerhouse of European indusrty and you should be proud of it. I wish England was. I don't bear the weight of my nation's past exploits on my shoulders and neither should you Germans. What happened is in the past.
Our generation is mature enough to bypass/ignore old prejudice and look towards the future of our mighty continent. We are all in the same boat now. Unity and variety is something we have that others don't.
If you are still in any doubt I am a regular family man with a job. I have a mixed race marriage. I love my wife and kids and the internet and PC games are my escape from the routine of normal daily life. Dont we all like to escape sometimes?
I ask you this. Does the above sound to you like I wish to uphold the values and ideology of the Waffen SS and 3rd Reich?

That sucks man. Sorry. Anytime I have large writing to do I do it in Word first then paste it over. Helps with typos too.

I did it in wordpad then pasted it over about 10,000 times but it kept going straight to the homepage when I clicked submit and not saying that my post had been successful.
Never mind.
