Vorbis (what you people call Ogg) is better than everything currently. Listening tests also confirm it. Tied second is AAC+.
192k Vorbis is transparent to the source (if the source is lossless, like a CD rip in clean WAV or FLAC format). |

quality matters! traffic not. 192kpbs is nothing for modern Internet connection even can use it on mobile without Problem |

Folks, this is a very old thread. Please try to look at the timestamp of the first message because, sometimes, your opinions are no longer meaningful if enough time has passed since the topic was created.
FYI, some of those 128k streams used to be here until, say, a year ago. Then, after careful consideration and traffic analysis, they were removed in order to optimize the station. It turned out that the 64k AAC+ sounded better than some 128k streams. _________________ diginferno
