I Dont only listen to one style of music btw. I listen to Death, black, stoner, and normal metal. thats 4 styles. I also like a very limited selection of 'classic/old rock'. So 5 styles in total
I fuckin hate electro music like trance/rave/dance. It's fuckin bollocks IMO. Im not saying you cant listen to it, its just that I dont like it at all. Im not retarded for only liking metal, on the contrary, I am so masterful because of this I keep myself free of such musical impurity. I am sceptical of people who like metal and other inferior music side by side. I think some of you need to re-address this balance in your lives and stop secretly trying to fit in with the musical flow of the masses. There is only one way; full-on, 100% commitment to the dark arts of metal...and beyond.

btw some other music as metal are really dark and gloomy... i think if that "inferior music" exist... it should be all music created without mind and creativity... i-e all actual crapy tv-shit like actual Rnb...
There are only good, neutral or bad artists in several sounds through the world... |

My cousin listened to AC/DC and Iron Maiden and I copied tapes from him. thus i started with AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Manowar. Then, one day when i was in a record store i found Metallica and Slayer. And from then on my metallish taste grew in all directions 
But i dun only listen to metal, I also like some dark electronic stuff like Wumpscutt and old rock stuff like Led Zeppelin.....

Razy - You might call it stoner rock - but I only listen to two bands in this genre who are NOT rock. And the others in my list below cannot be called rock for the sound of the music alone - it's far to heavy and dark and distorted to be called rock (with the exception of astroqueen)

I got into Metal at the age of 10. A firend brought me a tape with Iron Maidens "Piece of Mind". I was on fire from the first moment i listened to it.
By the years i seeked always the hardest and brutal stuff, in fact to keep myself a minority - not as the other usual Metalheads who started listening to that grunge-crap. My first LP was "Seven Churches" from POSSESSED, a milestone that days, followed by VENOM´s "Black Metal" and other harder stuff. I still like the old kind of Metal and enjoy listening to it but my real desire always belonged to DEATH METAL.
I´m still openminded to other kinds of music, especially gothic-electro stuff and meditational music (!) but i can´t stand that RnB and HipHop shit.

Trance is bigger than Industrial, EBM, Electro-Industrial, Coldwave, Darkwave, Ethereal,...
it also contains: Hi-NRG, Ibiza Trance, Latin Trance, German Trance, VGM (video game music), Goa, Dark Trance, Psytekk, Psychedelic Trance, Buttrock Goa, Acid Trance, ....
(there are still some subgenres I forgot now, about 10 )

i hear cannibal corpse at senior high school (1997), a lil bit too late huh..
then i asked my friend (who lend me that cassette) about this kind of music..
then i join local undergroud community in my hometown..
i usually listen hardcore, black metal, gothic, trash, punk, grindcore..local band of course..
it's so difficult to find foreign bands here..

I was a baby... my cousin gave to me "Master of Puppets", then he gave to me other album... "Reign in Blood"... then I look for the albums of METALLICA, SLAYER and many albums of Sepultura... uff there it began my love for the metal.
already I grew, I began to look for something more deep and rude, I knew (venom, death, bathory)... there my passion came for the dark things.... now I listen black metal and death metal, but more black metal that another thing
Unfortunately my cousin, my great teacher... at the moment, he doesn't listen more metal, only SAlSA and MERENGUE... that disgusting and bad... |
