French black metal band who, since their "Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice"-album, have been recognized as one of the greatest things ever coming from France. Very Happy

Their older albums have the more traditional black metal-sound but starting since "Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice" they've decided to make a change in their sound. Their new EP "Kenose" features only 3 songs but it's more then half an hour of a really disturbing atmosphere. The problem with their albums is they're not very easy. It takes some time before you really "get into" it.

It's also a bitch to find samples of them but this is the best I could find (not very representative for their albums):
