I've never got the ideal of Christian metal, a tad odd to me.
Especially since most Christian music is pure bull shit that gives me a headache, it's hard to suffer in my friends car as his mother plays that shit.
But if they can play some decent black metal I'll listen since I usually don't listen to the lyrics most of the time in BM, I find it's all about an "evil atmosphere"(is that Christian?).
Stealing the name Viking is wrong..... seriously wrong, should be a capital offense.
Christian death metal.. hmmm, I don't often like to mix my gory metal with religion, because it should focus on ripping guts out, or in the technical region screwing the government while going on a killing spree.

yea it seems kinda out of place. i really have nothing against it. think of it this way: its putting christians into metal, and as they get more into it they begin to hear more secular metal bands, converting them to the usual death and black metal. thats good for the genre.
most of the time you wouldnt even know that the bands are christian untill you look more into them. because some of them sound pretty good. but i dont listen to it.
