I don't know if anyone else is getting this, but I'm experiencing heavy buffering problems with the Ogg Vorbis streams.

Is it that you have bandwidth problems with the server? Or have you configured the Vorbis encoder wrong? For example, the 64k Vorbis stream goes up to 180k sometimes (it's VBR).

For best quality and stable bitrate, you should specify just a quality setting (-q 0 for 64k).

Also, I noticed that you're using a Vorbis encoder optimized for speed rather than quality/stability. The quality/stable encoder is AoTuV b5, but you're using the Lancer AoTuV b5.

And here's a screenshot to better illustrate what I mean:

If you look at the kbps display of Winamp, you'll see that the 64kbps stream reaches almost 170kbps.

That's just an exaple; I have observed that sometimes it even touches 200kbps.

Hope you can sort it out soon.

Thats is because OGG i think is a compressed VBR kinda stream. (Variable Bit Rate) Unlike mp3 which is a set rate.

Thanks for the move Death_Medic.

Yeah, this is a side affect of 64-bit computing. I have worked with the developer of Ogg and used several libraries and this is the best route right now until we revert to a 32-bit OS.
