well, this is not about metal, don't know where to add this topic.
I was wondering if any of U guys listen to this kind of music: dark-ambient- ethereal-folk-industrial-noise.. more obscure music I should say, but very artistic.. the kind of music supported by labels such as Cold Meat Industry, Projekt, Eibon.. I love many of those bands, especially those from CMI .. I recommend this to U as well, why not try something different.. I know many BM listeners also listen to this kind of stuff.. what do U think? _________________ None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free - Goethe

It is great - although often just electronic - music. My favourite artist is Vinterriket, but also listen to some Moevot (very old school), later Burzum, Atomtrakt, Paysage D'Hiver (although they also have raw BM-Albums), Neptune Towers (Fenriz Ambient Project , Wongraven (Satyrs Ambient Project), Uruk-Hai (not the Burzum Uruk-Hai, one guy from austria), Thou Shalt Suffer (Ihsahn from Emperor), Forest Silence, Kerovnian, some game soundtracks (Realm of Arcania 1&2, some songs from Deus Ex & Alien Trilogy, Eternal Daughter), some Film Soundtracks (Aliens versus Predator)... the list goes on.
Very moody _________________ o

Relas man, those are metal bands.. the bands I'm speaking about have nothing in common with metal.. maybe the attitude, for some of them.. _________________ None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free - Goethe

I know the genre,
and I even go further: I also listen to EBM (Electronic Body Music) [bands like Front 242, Apoptygma Berzerk,...], Electro-Industrial [Wumpscut, Frontline Assembly,...], Industrial [Merzbow, Einsturzende Neubauten, Opiated Priests,...],... _________________ We were, fair queen,

zarqun i dont think is about industrial here.
well, speaking of Neptune Towers they make me sleepy, i had 1 album of just 2 songs a total of 55 minutes, sheeesh!
i'm a big fav of industrial type music , new wave i, electro i, i metal, ebm industrial but thats not the case here.my fav dark-ambient is, well theres only 1 thats more like horror-ambient, weird thing is that if you search on m-a you find it, only the voice is the black metal type but theres no other elements to say or point is metal.
Dark Abyss from egypt, listen to samples --> Myspace the original songs are longer and of better quality _________________ |=*=Razy=*=|

EBM is fuckin great. there are great aggressive EBM acts like :Wumpscut:, Suicide Commando, Combichrist, Decoded Feedback, or even better: Feindflug and KiEw. KiEw is one of the most brutal music acts u can find, just as :Wumpscut: are. There is nothing deeper, harder or more violent.
But i bet many guys wont agree now, eh? _________________ JOIN ZAGANISM, PM ME FOR INFOS (Headpriest Cherubian)

it depends
for a lot of people it's the heaviest thing they'll ever hear, but in my opinion mathcore, frenchcore, some death metal and grindcore are a lot heavier _________________ We were, fair queen,

Although I sometimes listen to Feindflug I hate EBM. _________________ o

np Waffen man..
@Cherubian: those styles are fuckin brutal and insane.. I like them, but I have to be in a great mood to listen to such music.. I like some of the Thunderdome, Terrordrome series.. some speedcore, darkcore.. but I admit, I listen rarely to those styles, I prefer BM and dark ambient..
