What about your battlestation? It's good enough to listen DFM?
Mine is a simple one. There I have all I need to survive far from the mothership - a computer, books, cds, coffee, etc.
The main engine is a Pentium 4, 3GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD, and an old NVIDIA FX5200 to play some good games. The gun system is supported by a Sound Blaster Live with a 5.1 Creative system.
Enough to listen DFM and to chat with you cool ppl!

@Digi: you don't have a scout ship. You have a Defiant Class Battleship that needs just one stop at the shipyard to enhance the main memory: 1GB!
@Wurst: You have a Heavy Destroyer or a Light Dreadnaught! Did you got the Vista Index Level for this system yet? I guess your is level 4. Almost Ultimate Vista. |

I don't have a camera, so tough shit.
The battleship =
1) L-shaped desk in the corner, 6x8", sporting derComputer.
2) Der Computer = Athlon XP @ 2GHz, 2GB + 120GB/120GB (in/ext).
3) Some Altec Lansings blasting metal, and a clunky CRT blasting radiation.
Der Computer sports OpenBSD 4.0 (time to upgrade....) with lots of shells, emacs, and the Ion window manager. Spartan as hell, solid, and full of dev. tools.
For keys I have a Happy Hacker Keyboard Lite.....I'm hoping to get another without labeled keys soon. I hate mice, but like trackballs.
Nukes armed.

@neche: A true Borg Cube (let's do a convention: not Windows = Borg ship; and a Borg Cube is very powerful)
@digi: the Defiant Class was created to fight Borg Cubes!
@Dark: Really a Heavy Dreadnaught. Good for games. Forget Hi def Porno |
