I had a cool idea after re-reading that thread on gaming. I know lots of you play FPS games and rpg's and the like which are multi player.
Anyone else getting Enemy Territory: Quake Wars when it comes out? Would be fun to get a death.fm clan going with teamspeak etc. Also it would be good advertising. If we all donated a few quid, dollars or euros a month for the server and then hey presto - advertise the site and then have great fun fragging people.
Since the majority of death.fm users seem to be split mostly between Europe and North/South America we could have the appropriate divisions for clan vs. clan matches and even internal death.fm tournaments.
I think its a cool idea - a multigaming clan with BF 2142, WoW, Counterstrike, UT 2004, Warcraft 3, Company of heroes etc.
Anyone else think this is a cool idea? Please write below any ideas or thoughts.

is a great great idea waffen, with quake wars coming soon, hell yeah!
a CS server would be cool if we have a good admin to ban permanently cheaters

yeah, i'd join a bf 2142 project
who is already playing that and whats nick are you using? we could already start to play together from time to time. although i am not playing bf2142 much atm... buissy with ghost recon ^^
anyway, my bf2142 soldier is called T2-Keks
tried the enemy territoty beta a few days ago ... and this game sucked. many cool ideas in there, but it was no real fun to play it. dunno why exactly but i really disliked it |

1. i don't think that joining a gaming clan would automatically create an association between metal and gaming. or, at least, it shouldn't.
2. define "nerd"

nerdish is someone who doesnt have a social life behond his computer and actually spends more time in front of one that in any other activity. By nerdish i didnt mean the forun users here are nerds but i do know a lot of metal heads who are so i kinda like to keep a distance from gaming and metal inside my mind, its probably just me, but i do like to avoid the mix, i met too many nerd metalheads :\ and im not proud of it, in my town there are three kinds of people nerds ( and unfortunatly most are metalheads ), assholes ( rappers and stuff ), and punk hardcores ( or whatever you want to call that music style) well im not gonna keep writting since its only my opinion and i kinda cleared out why i do avoid gaming mixed with my music preferences :P and i think im talking too much crap already |

I plan on buying Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, hopefully they will screw up the release and it will be free like Wolf ET.
I'm down for it.
I can't help with server fees every month because I'm usually broke.

Hmmmm i think it would be a good idea but alot of ppl play different games. i think we would have to find the best game ti fit all of our playing style. for me i play hero online and wow... im in pothead guilds in both of them :P |

I tell you what. Forget it! It'll be too much hassle and we are all big arseholes who argue too much with each other. Its a good idea but from whats been posted I don't think it'll work.
