Been looking into the Thai underground metal scene recently and found some total shit bands and some very good ones. I'll be using this thread and my connections to the evil forces beneath the surface to inform you of the best bands in Thailand and Asia.
There seems to be a thriving scene which I found very funny as the idea of Thais doing Death Metal and stuff was amusing to me, but they can do it.
First off is AnubiZ:

This is quality once you get used to it. Massive beefy brutal riffing and fucked up singing with great variety, both fast and nasty. Great production. I reckon this is fuckin' class.

Obviously fans of sepultura but its pretty good.
Dezember:

Not my cup of tea but some of you might like it. More progressive stuff with good production. Its ok once you get round the singing in Thai

Here's a band from Singapore who have been about since 1990!! Never heard of them until the other day when my informants brought them to my attention.
This is fast paced death/black with good riffing and vocals. According to their myspace they have a new album out on 27th July 2007.
These are worth checking out and should probably even be added to the playlist here, they are worthy.

Another Singapore band who play raw fast black metal. It dosen't sound like it was done in a garage either. It starts off a bit shit but gets better quickly. its got some awesome WWII samples and some cool sound effects that really fit well into their music. I'm looking out for this band!
