Hej,
Just wondering which IM clients you use and why...
I use aMSN for msn and Miranda for yahoo, ICQ and IRC (okej IRC more chat than IM)
I think miranda rocks because it's so much customizable and light, you can just make you own.
About aMSN I keep it just for my logs and stats ^^ _________________ chainmail bra - howto |

Used ICQ then Miranda for a long time. Now I use none, hate them. _________________ o

Hej,
What you guys think about the new pidgin (ex-Gaim) 2.0 ?
I'll stick to miranda anyway (now use it also for msn), but I'm curious. _________________ chainmail bra - howto |

trillian. meta-messenger, that's what it is, just like gaim. i simply like it, it's rather lightweight, has plenty of skins to fit one's taste and i use it for yahoo, icq and irc. it also supports msn, but... whatever _________________ diginferno

No IM. I hate phone, i-phone, IM, and everything that forces me to talk with ppl. I have enough meetings as a professional. For me, only email.
Today, DFM is the only (and unique) e-contact I have with ppl.
I'm considering an incursion into Second Life for professional purposes (explore new possibilities). |

Hej,
I don't think you can find more lightweight than miranda IM ^^
When my cl is open it uses only around 5 Mb process, and when it's in the systray less then 2 Mb !!
Of course if I'd had a skin set, it would be around 10 Mb, but still ^^ _________________ chainmail bra - howto |

Hej,
I hadn't ever tested SIM (didn't know it worked on windows), and Miranda is way lighter than it !
It takes some 22 Mb process. Disableing a lot of plugins to have to same features as my miranda config and it decreased to 16 Mb.
Plus it doesn't look half as customizable as miranda.
Anyway thanks for having told me about it, I have fun testing all IM clients !

Hej,
Just try it maybe ?
It's name may sound gay (well it's like a spanish female name, btw happy birthday Soledad Miranda, nice strip-tease in the movie Eugénie 1970...), but you can make miranda look just as you want, even mimic the trillian skin. ^^ _________________ chainmail bra - howto |
