Hm, watched the chat on SST, mostly at least 2 mods are online, here in DFM
they spend less attention, 'cause no trouble at all, are there some reasons for that?
One point could be, we're just more clever and avoid sensitive discussions
with mods online (laugh), or we're mature and solve problems by using arguments (Mature? We? lmfao), but, and that's the point i'm afraid of, are we just a bunch of boring pussies
in comparison with the SST listeners, who we call the "mainstream crowd"?
So, now i'm curious 'bout your answers. |

You know what I think?
I think those people need to get a piece of white chalk, not blue, green, or even yellow. But, white chalk, go down to their basement, (where it's nice and dark) sit down indian style and draw a circle around themselves and say "I am a stupid motherfuker." 3 times.
I'm telling you, it's the only way to stop these people. Only thing is your persuasion level has to be at least +22 to even attempt this. Even then it's only like a 30% chance it will work. Idealy, you should be like +30 on your persuasion ability.

I agree with cj, if you gather a bunch of assholes together, sure we fuck with eachother sometimes, but we all seem to get along. Also, you have to consider this is a METAL ONLY station, SST has all kinds of shit, so people are probably more prone to complain that way. Obviously everyone here loves metal, so there isn't going to be many arguments except for deleting certain bands that are a little pussyfied. ROCK ON!

Add thick skinned to that, takes quite a bit to really get a rise out of most here. For me, the only real button is politics, and I've made that publicly known.

I have complained about mods or any "colored names" lack on chat or forums for a marketing reason: Newbies feel confortable or secure when there are "colored names" near. I think that more mods, admins or JERIC online would enhance retentions of visitors and newbies and, perhaps RIPs too.

We are by far the most lax of all chat and forums that I have been to. The main reason for that is because we are METALHEADS and we can handle ourselves. Like CJ said that is true there has only been one person ever baned (to the best of my knowledge) off of DFM but that individual had it comming. He was always bashing ppl and putting down their taste in music and requests.... Which for the most part we all do but he was just too brutal I know he had scared away a few noobs.
Also Vile Vince hit the nail on the head we are all metalheads and can get along for the most part.

Imo we are always too dizzy from headbanging or too drunk to actually be able to keep a fight for more than 10 minutes :P that and the fact that most of the people here are pretty tolerant.
Now the real funny thing is, everyone here is a bunch of psicos and nutts who should all be in jail :P just kidding |
