Hm, statistics, not really sure about those of third worls countries,
besides i missed China, so many citizens, probably noone would notice
some "vanished" people, especially in rural communities far away from
offices, recently i read, for instance in Germany only a third of all cases
get classified as murder, the others as accidents 'cause of sloppiness,
didn't check this theory yet, but it shows how "reliable" such informations are.
Nevertheless, congrats to the USA for being not among the top 20, or should
i say shame on you for leaving the leadership to your drugdealers, laugh?

A whole lot of the murders in this country are committed by our permanent visitors from the south. We really need to do something about that, except the fucking liberals have a fit every time someone suggests it. Mad

After thinking about this for awhile and brushing aside my patriotic red neck attitude I began to see that much of this sort of thing is actually just perception, nothing more. Granted, that perception may have been fostered by misinformation, intentional or not, that has propagated to the point of it is now fact. Much of the world sees Americans as gun crazed, insane people, and unfortunately many of the world's leaders have pushed this image to meet their own agendas. And people with nothing more to go on than what they are being told start to believe the lies or misinformation.

Kani, a somewhat goofy example of this is I'll just bet there are many Americans that think the folks in your country (Netherlands, right?) all wear wooden shoes, grow tulips and live in windmills. THAT, is the perception that has been fostered over the years, oh yeah, one other thing, you take turns putting your finger in the dike LOL .

So...even though many people (including many here, especially some of the more idealistic younger folk) would like to view the world as a global community; its not, and probably never will be. We are all too different, and keeping it that way is, to me, is very important. Those differences will always breed misconceptions, and often even animosity, but I'd rather have that than a vanilla world of sameness.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm fingering dikes! I like those movies.

You are correct in your assumptions/observations CJ. As a master of sociology and international intergration I approve of what you say.

Therefore; Tollerance + Procrastination x Individuality = Variety
