Aeon - for the extrem metalic / Barrel sound of the guitars
The old Prostitute Disfigurement for the funny Piggy Growls noone ever can do haha
Malignancy - the pinch-harmonic most using band with an enormous screamin singer
Last days of humanity for just - Noise haha
Bloodbath - can't describe why but no band ever will reach the level of bloodbath ... the songs are genius creations |

I'm surprised no one mentioned Morbid Angel, Trey's mad guitar skills and Pete killin' the skins. Deffinently noticeable different sound on Formulas, IMO their best.
Oh, and BTW Arcturus kick fuckin' ass!! Too bad they split, R.I.P |

I have to agree with Wally, Origin have a original sound. Easily recognized. And of course Nile and Melechesch. Novembers Doom and Agalloch are real unique in what they do. Mainly Agalloch.
Usually avant-garde bands such as Solefald and Arcturus have unique sounds. One more example is Unexpect.
Imo Opeth have a unique sound too. _________________ "Fists are in the air. banging everywhere thrashing to the sound, faces melting down!

Melechesh for sure. Their drums with high attack, fast guitars and peculiar vocal turn them unique.
Opeth has a unique sound, more on their songs as a whole.
Amon Amarth (immediatly recognizable) Zarqun
And, at last, Epica the unique that irritates all |

I remebered another one: Lykathea Aflame _________________ "Fists are in the air. banging everywhere thrashing to the sound, faces melting down!

Hmmm... the term space metal also reminds me of "The Kovenant" or "Covenant" as they were called before they had to change their name. I think you can recognize them (at least their last two albums) very easily. _________________ o

Eisheilig is a good example of this. And I like Eisheilig. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.
