I'd enjoy both....but can probably only afford to travel to one of 'em....so which is it? BTW, they're at the same venue, a week apart, so travel cost is equivalent, as is ticket cost.. |

Do you prefer more the old or the newer stuff of Enslaved?
They play more new songs live, nothing from ELD or BLODHEMN what are
my favs of them, usually 2 FROST songs, that's all.
Amon Amarth are just very professional, everytime the same songs,
means "greatest hits", never disappointing, but mostly low volume level
and seldom a surprise in the playlist.
Oh, and on an Amon Amarth show are more chicks among the audience.

Both good, Amon Amarth possibly has a more active stage-show... hmm if I had to decide I'd go to the cheaper one, which isn't possible here

I got a great idea, buy the 7 1/2 hour video of Amon Amarth for 12 bucks and go see the other one. _________________ Not dead, just sleeping.

Hey neches
I don't know how to say this exactly, but "don't throw away the sure by the doubtful".

if Enslaved would play more the old stuff, I would definitely choose them.. _________________ None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free - Goethe

I'd have a hard time picking which CD to put into my player, but as far as concerts go, the choice is easy for me, assuming I'd not have seen any of them previously. When I go to a concert, I want to move, I want to bang, and I want others to do so. I want a pit. I don't think this happens at Enslaved gigs, so I'd go with AA for that reason.
Cheers

I want to go to both of these actually, but I'm only going to Amon Amarth. I'd go with them anyways _________________

I was looking at some of the venues for the US tour, and one really stood out as TOTALLY inappropriate for a band like AA. They are playing at the Clubhouse in Tempe, AZ! How the fuck are they going to do their usual type show there. The place is a bar with a stage, a SMALL stage, low ceilings, terrible acoustics. I've been there a couple times for shows, it pretty much sucks. If anyone is planning on going there I strongly suggest you travel a bit to another venue, ie the Sunshine in Albuquerque, its not too bad.
Note the post number.

Nice, 666, but now you have to stop posting forever, 'cause the figures
change in ALL of your posts, seems the "battle" is decided.
