HOLY SHIT

That's all I can say.

For those who don't know, Sin City is the long-anticipated cinematic adaptation of the classic series of graphic novels by comic writer/artist Frank Miller.

This movie was easliy the most faithfully recreated comic movie ever. In filming, they actually shot every single frame thats in the parts of the novel series that they used. The lines are all the same, even the use of color is the same (black and white, hard shadows, with the exception of few accented colors, such a the blonde hair on one charachter, her red dress, a few peoples eyes, etc). Anyone who has seen this would agree that it kicks ass.

My husband and I went to see this flick last night. It was very very well done. I'm not big on watching movies with a lot of gruesome violence (unless they are zombie movies, of course) and this movie was definately more violent than I prefer, however the movie was extremely well done. I appreciated the artistry in the film and enjoyed seeing it.

I haven't read this comic, but I actually got the feeling of reading a comic while watching this movie.

I highly recommend seeing it.

It was a great great movie, all though a bit to violent for me...

The effects we're fantastic and the roles played very well.

I haven't read the comic (it's hard to find it here in Denmark) but I'm working on it...

It lost its impact after I'd seen it a few times, and acting in front a of a green screen didn't work out for some actors... so no it's not the best comic adaptation. True to the stories sure, but not perfect.

Next year Sin City 2. Starring Clive Owen, Jessica Alba, Rose McGowan, Jaime King, Rosario Dawson, Danny Trejo, Michael Clarke Duncan, Devon Aoki, Antonio Banderas y Mickey Rourke. Also there's rummored Angelina Jolie will be on this film, otherwise Rose McGowan would be featuring Ava Lord.

Clive Owen and Mickey Rourke are the only ACTORS in this list - the others cannot act.. Rose McGowan looks horrible after all those plastic surgeries
