sounds a bit crazy, probably too difficult, but i thought it might be cool if there was a firefox extension that had the current dfm queue in it, and maybe a link to search and request. what do you think?

Here's how I see it: sounds crazy, it is difficult and there's a lot of work involved, both client-side and server-side. Being able to request from the extension means secure connection to the site, to protect the user's login credentials. Because of these conditions, I don't see it implemented in the near future.

Besides, without the chat and the forums, you'd end up having a remote control for the queue, which is not exactly representative for the community here.

On the other hand, if you think about a toolbar that would only store the links to the site sections... That's easy to do, but it's useless, since the station menu allows you to navigate to any section.

How about with an RSS-Feed with the current queue?
