For those that wish to know about Corpsegrinders nickname.

The following is from an interview with George Fisher
http://www.markprindle.com/fisher-i.htm
This is quoted from it.

"Oh, that was - what was your first band?

Corpsegrinder. That's the nickname Lee (Harris, drummer) from Monstrosity started calling me - "Corpsegrinder." Yeah, so that was the name of my first band, up in Baltimore, Maryland."

so there we go...RelaS, we didnt give him the nickname, most people who actually listen to cannibal corpse would know that (not where it came from but what his nickname was). Smile

Well, at that time, when they changed their vocal , lots of fans said that without Chris Barnes there will be no C.C... but I think George Fisher is awesome, and fist perfectly in the band.. which one you think is best?.. I vote for "Corpsegrinder", Barnes is a great vocalist too but I think Fisher kicks his ass..
OK!

I have to agree with the first post - they're both great, but I like Fisher's vocals more.

Here is my perspective on who is a better vocalist in Cannibal Corpse. In my opinion, neither vocalist is better than the other.

This argument really boils down to personal preference and people arguing over each other's choices.

You are going to favor who you are going to favor regardless of anyone else's opinion.

That said, I personally enjoy both vocalists for all that they have to offer to the metal scene.

Horns up Evil or Very Mad

Barnes!

But as far as I know he was having vocal issues at the time, so he got the boot, but then got his act together for 6 Feet Under.

Monstrosity with corpsegrinder was better than after he left IMO.

I think the change wasn't that bad but the stuff Cannibal Corpse writes has less sexual themes now than it did in the older albums before vile. Therefore, I can care less who sounds better. They're great now and they were great before.
