I have often thought it would be nice to see my name up there so that I could tell which song is mine (ESPECIALLY when I make a random pick and I can't tell the artist)

If it's too much work, or if it gets vetoed, then I'm happy with just keeping track of what just sounds good.

I don't know if it is what you mean, but "up there" somewhere below the artist name & song-title there is a little box called "Request By"...

No, because last time I checked, there is no such thing as an

You can see your nickname both in the queue and on the now playing section (the page header). If you look just above the menu you'll see the following items: Listeners, No Repeats, Request By (your name below), Queue Length and Request Wait.

Will, pay attention to digi. Further, have you visited our queued to play list ever? I guess you are missing this page, dude. Smile

Ok, yes I should have been more precise. I should have pointed out that I'm using winamp... I'd like to be able to see the requester in the pop-up from the system tray. As far as looking at a web page... Well, there-in lies the problem. It's just a pain it the butt to have to stop what I'm working on every couple of minutes to look at a page every time a new song comes on. Way too tedious! That's what I like about winamp - it has the pop-up with (some) song info.

Hope that clears up my request.

I think including the requestor's message in the "Now Playing" portion would be a plus... I often include a favourite line from the lyrics of the requested song.

wraxus, this is a good idea. i have played with it since times, but i did not launched it yet 'cause on 1st place we have to get a place for dedi.

Any suggestions about a place to put dedi in "Now Playing" area?

I had thought a marquee (horizontal scrolling text). But there are (important) aesthetics issues.

Well, we have some space left in the box under the "Now Playing". My idea would be:

Band Name - CD/EP Name
Music Name
Ratings
"Dedi Here"

All this in a marquee, like Pesa said. But, besides the aesthetics issues, I don't know how this would work with big music names, that needs 2 lines.
