Died today. Asimov, Heinlein and now Clarke. The golden age of science fiction is just about dead, not too many of the great ones left. One thing that pisses me off about Clarke's passing is all the media can talk about is "2001: A Space Odyssey". WTF, that is one of his worst novels. What about "Childhood's End", "The Sands of Mars", "Islands in the Sky", "Against the Fall of Night", "Rendezvous With Rama" and a host of others?! All true fans will miss you.
RIP Arthur.
