We all know what image linking is: those nice banners one can find in the "Link To Us" section of the site and can embed into other web pages. It seems that some obscure company owns a patent covering this "image linking" thingy and is also making a fuss about it.
I have not read the patent text because I have a numbing headache and I wouldn't get much of it. Also found an TechSpot article about the situation.
All I can say is WTF?????

Ha! Only in terms of stupidity, not size!
According to their site , it is supposed to only cover the image search results. This does not explain what I read earlier, about taxing telephone companies because they provide access.
