The title is due Diginferno® (thanks, digi).
The data was collected from Internet Archive Wayback Machine http://web.archive.org/web/*/death.fm
The flags was borrowed from World Flag Database http://www.flags.net/
On subsequent pages there are patches to the next months
The idea is quite simple: to do a country visiting rank based on past info.
The result is below
The html original is here
http://www.pesa.eti.br/deathfm/dfm-history.htm
Enjoy

wow, this is really cool! Very kick-ass stuff. Interesting to see which and when countries move. And great title too. _________________ The real question of life after death isn't whether or not it exists, but even if it does, what problems this really solves. Ludwig Wittgenstein |

Interesting to see some of the countries you wouldn't think would be on the radar at all, S. Korea and Israel are 2 prime examples. Just goes to prove to you that metal is the universal language. |

This also shows that people in the U.S are least likely to log-in, register or stick around. Every time I see the online now list, the U.S. is the minority yet it is the undisputed #1. Perhaps DFM isn't "fast food" enough for Americans? _________________ "It's all Venger's fault! We oughtta do something about that guy. " -Eric

Very true, American musical taste tends to run towards songs that are 3 minutes or less, very little decent metal fits that criteria. Also, ask any American what is metal, they will tell you Metallica, Slayer, etc. The good stuff doesnt' get heard by many, even shows I've been to are poorly attended when its one of the good European metal bands. |

Most of times i'm online, Germany is by far the majority and always there are very few Americans.
I even thought that this USA leading would be a marketing strategy of Jeric. |
