Had no idea how to name this thread.. the thing is, almost everytime I log in to DFM, the Q looks like a fuckin' deja-vu.. almost same bands all the time, same old same old.. is there a possibility to increase the "no-play" days for a requested track?.. we had 5 days, now it's 8 but how about 10 or 12!.. 10 wud be ok.. I mean we have a huge selection of bands, but only few get requested.. I have none against nobody, anyone can request whatever, I wud just like to see some fuckin' variety in the Q.. maybe this wud bring a little bit more of that..
10 days no-play, means a song can be heard max 3 times per month which I think is ok.. we're not MTV after all

ADD Poll! from the start i wanted 10 days "no repeats" coz some dudes always pick mostly the same songs over & over and call me "he thinks hes so cool coz he picks bands no one heard of"

I know what you mean. Some people believe that being active members and donating stuff entitles them to take over the queue. Some of those people also show contempt towards other people and the music they like. They are oblivious to the fact that their contempt is being reflected upon themselves, in some cases.

The exception for new tracks (less than 22 days old) is 4 days no repat policy. Full explanation is coming shortly.

The staff decided to keep the 10-day no repeats for now. It was really a big difference from the previous 8 days, even taking into account the 4-day interval for new songs.
Anyway, for each song you get bored of, you can use the LPRT-O-Matic

perhaps you could have a no band repeat (instead of no song repeat) for 1 or 2 days, if it's variety you want.
