sure why not increase it from 15 to 30-45 days so we have more "variety" in the Queue LOL I think that's the way it will be in the future Cool Peace

we have about many thousand songs here and ingreasing still we are playing here like less than 1000 song cykle.... that is just weird

This is a quite reasonable idea - there are still tracks that have never been taken out of the closet. There have been songs with zero plays since 2008, when they were added.
Maybe a script that automatically adds the least requested songs to the q is a good thing as well, say 3 times a day?

When the queue goes under 1 hour the less requested songs are requested but since when is the queue under 1 hour :P

THis thread was from 2008, when songs could be requested every few days. It was already increased to 15 days.

Should make a new thread if people want to request to increase it further.

I have a better idea, targeting incremental increase in more than two steps. I will post it in the internal forums one of these days, it will require some software changes.

Given the fact that a lot of music stays unrequested because people are focused on several tracks, not all of them really new, this should not be subject to public debate. I know that a similar problem exists at at least one of the other stations.
