This thread is pointless squabbling over fuck all imo. Who really, genuinley gives a flying fuck?

I'll lock my own thread after I take enough bashing on the subject to convince me not to bother any further with this. Mr. Green

I don't even request anymore because of this. But guess it doesn't matter(until it's all the same crap over and over).

Well I knew this would be a big controversy. Here is my thought on this subject.....

I really don't see a problem with doing this, I used to do this all the time (even with the same bands when we could que up more then one song by a band at once). I think that most ppl here are generally good about requesting different genres of music (there are a few exceptions though). This really don't affect ppl from not wanting to request if they want to hear something they will request it regardless of weather or not one person has filled up the que. Now where I do have the problem is when ppl fill it then leave thats not fair to the other members. I mean you still have to wait a least an hour for your request to come up any ways so whats a few more min?

This is just my thoughts on this.

I know I've had a lot of my picks in the queue at times, BUT I do try to mix between black and death metal. And, once someone else comes on to request songs, I try to back off (especially if Ive had a good run). But I will also add more songs if the System/Admin is about to start picking songs (usually Cradle of Filth) again.

I dont see a problem with 1 member fill up the queue. Of course I say that because I do this; its quite often the moments I'm alone requesting, so I just dont let the lenght near 1:00, because I rather my req. than the system's.

But, as Seclu said already, its more a question of netiquette... and i think there's nothing anyone can do about this but "read between the lines" and share the queue with others who want to request their music.

I don't see a issue with this. Late at night when no one is on is a great time to hear the music you like. If someone has a problem with the que at that time they can request songs to mix it up.
