Perhaps some of my fellow Belgians know these guys, they're pretty known in the Belgian metal scene... And since I know their singer, I thought I'd make a little promotion for their upcoming release, entitled Ever-Arch-I-Tech-Ture.

The reason why I'm making this topic is because I've just heard the new album (lucky me!!! LOL ) and MAN this is GOOD. Those who know their demo (Incognation), it sounds a lot better than that + it has songs which will / could appeal to a lot of different "types" of metalheads. For example, one song is for Opeth-fans, another for Emperor-fans, a "ballad" with guestvocals by the singer of Pain Of Salvation, a Cradle Of Filth-like song, Evergrey gone extreme, practically every "style" of metal is present (yes some Death Metal too 8) ). The mastering has been done by Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Soilwork, Mnemic,...) and the mixing by none other than Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman (Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Soilwork,...). Result = massive sound, think of the Incognation-promo but A LOT HEAVIER sounding.

As said before, the album will be released near the ending of September / begin October and they'll be releasing 2 mp3's pretty soon to give you an idea.

For those interested: http://www.axamenta.com (you can listen to some samples of the Incognation-promo in the Media part)

Visit our myspace spot, with an MP3 from the upcoming album "Ever-Arch-I-Tech-Ture" !

We've been working real hard on the record deal, and by the looks of it, the CD will be released in May, but (more) official news about that when the time is there.

In the meanwhile, check out the MP3 "Ashes To Flesh" - it's the 3rd track from the album and shows a more melodic & modern/progressive side of Axamenta.

Don't worry, the other songs will blow your socks off

Cheers!

Yeah sorry 'bout that. It's just these guys really deserve a lot more recognition than what they're getting now. They really could become a big band I think, they just need to support a well known band on a tour and they could be launched... Very Happy

And JERIC, nice to see they'll send the CD. Normally speaking they should be ready at the end of May...

Oh hell yeah, it was one of the greatest gigs of Axamenta so far. In-Quest sounded massive and Thurisaz was a very nice surprise. Great way to chill during your "blokperiode". LOL Nice pics, that one with MiQe is great...

Oh and how great is Ever-Arch-I-Tech-Ture? Goddamn, this is going to be my album of the year. 8)

And JERIC, did you get the album already?
