I finally found a label/distro I can feel comfortable with. I bought a couple demo tapes from him recently. Little underground label in France, Dernier Bastion. Guy named Jonathan Theurel owns it. His promo stuff says:
Underground Black Metal, Epic, Ambient, Melancholic, Depressive...
No death-shit!
No grind!
No goth!
Works for me!!!!!!

I probably should have left a link. And yep, the site is in French, and so is the proprietor. Took 10 emails back and forth to order 2 tapes, but it was funny rather than annoying.

I'm the owner of Dernier Bastion !
I'll edit a new topic soon but you have said the principal ahah.
Principaly focus on the french scene and tape too.
Released around 15 prods (cd and tapes)
Now the website is only on english, (not concerning the frenchies only, like reviews or fanzine written in native tongue...)
Webshop does'nt exist for the moment but I work on it actually, If a user could realise it via OsCommerce, it'll be great !
Till this time only old school mailorder available.
